Falling under the local government jurisdiction of Blacktown, Tallawong derives its name from the metro station situated within its boundaries, which commenced operations in May 2019. The name "Tallawong" holds cultural significance as it is derived from the Darug language, meaning "apple gum tree."

We are one of the only few remaining independent as well as family owned and operated funeral directors in Sydney. Tom and Birgitt acquired Affinity Funerals in 2009, and in that time have conducted thousands of funeral services in Sydney and in the surrounding suburbs which include regional towns as well as overseas repatriation.
