Arranging A Funeral

Planning an arrangement

Before organizing your loved ones funeral there are a number of things you can do before Tom or Birgitt come and see you.

Clothes for dressing of your loved one
Photo's and personal details of your loved one
What music you want played at the service.
Newspaper notices and family member names you want mentioned in the advertisement.

During The Arrangement

Our role as Funeral Directors is to sit down and discuss certain aspects of the funeral service for your loved one. Every person is different, just like no funeral is the same. Our experience in dealing with generations of families over the years enables us to organize your loved ones funeral and personalize the service to suit your loved ones character and personality.

Some decisions to be made are:

  • Choice of music
  • Floral tributes
  • Burial or cremation
  • Chapel or Church
  • Viewing or no viewing
  • What coffin/casket colour etc

What Our Families Say

Birgitt and Tom
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for organising my father’s funeral today. Your professionalism and compassion in handling all our needs and questions was greatly appreciated. My mother was initially concerned with regard to the cost of the funeral/cremation. Your flat rate and particularly noticeable absence of up-selling was greatly appreciated and a welcome change from previous experiences we have had with the loss of family members.
Thank you again.
