I first spoke to Lily , who guided me with compassion as we knew the death of our Father / Father-in-Law was close,I made the expected call late in the evening 10pm to be precise and was met with nothing but support and that they would handle from there,As you may or may not know at the time when you need to make arrangements your mind is spinning in all directions , but with the support we received I can only say we were treated like family. We received a visit from Lily and Aldo in the comfort of our home to go through the many things that were necessary prior to the funeral.
We felt like we were in good and caring hands.
Never did we fell at any stage , that they would take advantage of our sorrow it was not about the cost !!! it was about what we wanted and they assisted us in any way they could.
Everything to writing a message / to a picture. All the people involved were wonderful.
I know !! why would you write a note to thank a funeral parlour ? Why NOT ? They deserve nothing but our gratitude for the proffessional and caring nature they bestowed on us. It will be another wonderful memory to talk about in sad times.

I recently attended the funeral of my Aunt & was very impressed with the care all my family received. I would especially like to thank Birgitt who guided my family right from the start & was always available to help and answer any questions my family had. My aunt was given the send off she truly deserved. Once again thanks Birgitt for your empathy, guidance & compassion.

What a wonderful process our family and friends have just been part of !A funeral is a once of, with the potential for many things to go wrong.John and Affinity Funerals made our Mothers funeral into something very memorable.It is now almost a week on and people are still commenting on the professionalism and caring shown to all present on the day .Nothing was missed and Johns experience shone though Thank You to all your Team

Affinity Funerals made a very sad day for us almost bearable. John, with his friendly caring nature, and the lovely, caring Carolyn who was the celebrant made the service for my mother, as beautiful as possible. There were very touching and completely fitting songs and verses as well as a eulogy which was very professionaly and sympathetically read by Carolyn. The flowers on Mum's casket were absolutrely beautiful and I could imagine Mum smiling in appreciation. We recieved caring, genuine follow up phone calls from John, who I now count as a friend, and would thoroughly recommend him and his team to anyone looking for a top quality and genuinely caring funeral service. Thank you John, Carolyn and others who helped with the occasion, we won't forget it.

We would like to express our gratitude for the wonderful tribute to our Mum (age 94) that we were able to achieve with the help of Affinity Funerals. John and Carolyn gave very generously of their time and their emotional energy to empathise with our family and to learn about Mum. They worked as a team to attend to each detail and to ensure that the funeral was unique to our family. John even rang us in the evening after the service to check if we were okay, and followed up with a visit a few days later. Thank you for the sensitive and sincere way you enabled us to celebrate Mum's passing.

Thank you Affinity Funerals especially John, i know its your job to look after and help people organised their loved ones funerals but your service was GREATLY appreaciated... you made sure everything was in order and as requested.
