'Forever in our hearts'

It is a rare gift to fall in love & marry your soul mate.
This is what our Dad & Mum did.
While cleaning out Dads home we came across a pile of love letters they had sent to each other.

On reading them it took us into a world we did not know existed.
It was always thought that Dad was the poet, but we soon learn that Mum was indeed a poet also.

They had their ups & downs but it was very clear that throughout it all their love for each
other was always strong & only became stronger as the years passed.

Here is an extract from one of those poems our Mum wrote to our Dad.

Dear face that holds so sweet a smile for me.

Were you not mine, how dark this world would be.

I know no light above,
that could replace loves radiant sunshine of your dear face.

Shadows may fall across this land and sea

Sunshine from all this world may hidden be

But I shall see no cloud across the sun

Your smile will light my way, till life is done.

Give me your smile the love light in your eyes.

Life could not hold a fairer paradise.

Give me the right to love you.

All the while my life forever.
The sunshine of your smile.
